The bodice of the c.1930 cream silk crepe gown featured a round neckline with a low waist blouson style and an inserted embroidered panel at the centre front. Soft pleating fell from the piped neckline either side of the embroidery to the low waist where an attached low band was finished with a self bow. The sleeves were elbow length and the skirt was softly pleated and finished at mid calf length. The gown was fully lined with silk material.
