The Mallala Museum held an exhibition of wedding gowns from their collection during History Month May 2018. The event called "Down the Aisle - Wedding dresses through the years" featured 19 gowns displayed throughout the museum. The bodice of the cream silk crepe gown featured a round neckline with a low waist blouson style and inserted narrow embroidered panels either side of the centre front. The sleeves were elbow length and the skirt was softly gathered and finished at just below knee length. The gown was fully lined with silk material.
