From Mallala
Worked at the Mallala Telephone Exchange from 1958 to 1960. In training as a Technician in Training. Was in my 3rd year of training to become a Telecommunication Technician. Transferred to Nuriootpa at the end of 1960 before moving to Adelaide in August 1961.
Originally boarded with Meaney family in house on Balakala rd before moving to reside at the RAAF base. The airbase was operational at this time. RAAF people worked on a 10 day work roster then 4 days off
