Born Elizabeth Jean Blatchford 20/05/1942 in Mrs Moody’s Hospital next to the Drs Residence and Surgery this was on Aerodrome Rd opposite the School The then Dr being Dr Boucaut the nurses were Miss Coral Peters and Mrs Linda Marshman’s We lived on Adelaide Rd on what is called Blatchford’s Farm until I was 4 and a half when we moved into Mallala so as I could attend school we lived next door to Pym’s house which had little flatettes which they rented out to locals and some of the Air Force couples as did Mrs Verner who lived diagonally. Donnelly’s lived opposite who had a Chicken Farm also a Hatchery it was great watching the chickens hatch and then watching them grow into chooks laying eggs I helped out often it was great fun
