Christina Grace Roberts married James David Dow (both of Barabba S.A.) in the Owen Methodist Church on 30th October 1917. Christina's two piece wedding gown was made of ivory silk. The full length skirt had unpressed pleats. The hip length jacket featured a military look with epaulettes on the shoulders, waist and long sleeves. A feminine touch was the insert of lace at the neckline where Christina pinned a pretty brooch. As she had to travel to the church by horse and buggy Christina covered her dress with a heavy silk dust coat - also on display.
