Excerpt from the Minutes of  the first meeting.

quote:  Minutes of the Meeting for the Formation of the Combined Probus Club of Two Wells held in the Two Wells Community Centre on Monday 15th March 1995 at 10.00 am.

Present: Past District Governor R. Day, Past District Governor D. Whiteford, President R. Dickins, Past President Les Williams (Chairman), Past President M. Wilson, Secretary R. Dawkins, eleven Probians and eighteen interested persons from the District.

Open: Rotarian PP Les Williams opened the meeting, welcoming all present and asked for apologies.

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: normal; font-family: helvetica, sans-serif" />Apologies:  Rtn P.E. M. Goss and Margaret Goss, Fred and Betty White, Mavis Rice, Reg Hart, Audrey Hart, Betty Brereton, Rita and Domenic Canala, Clem Wasley and K. Rienke indicated their support to become members if a club was formed.

PP Les Williams then introduced Rtn President Rolly Dickins who asked all present to stand and introduce themselves.  President Rolly then gave a brief outline of the history of Rotary International and the Two Wells Club.  He then invited members of other Probus Clubs to speak.

Ms Olwyn Duncan from the Gawler Women's Club spoke about her time as a Foundation Member of the Club the second Women's Probus Club to be formed in South Australia.

Probian Bill Palamountain a member of the Gawler Men's Club spoke on the History of Probus and the Aims and Membership of people to a club.
