KING STREET - c1900

For a time following the construction of the Willaston Bridge in the late 1800’s, King Street was the main thoroughfare to Cowan Street at Light Square. In the picture from the left: Trissie Cheek, Gordon Forgie, Allan Haydock, Ivy Haydock. On the road is Cecil Woods. On the right is J Graham Forgie, later killed in action in France 1918.

Come along to Pioneer Park and enjoy the festivities. The fun commence at 5.00pm with free entertainment including Jumping Castle, Face Painters, Climbing Wall, Magicians and much more along with a special visit by Santa.

Carols commence at 7.15pm - 9.45pm, with entertainment for the whole family including guest artist Wes Carr and many more wonderful entertainers for all to enjoy.
