-At the corner of Dublin Rd and Railway Terrace a weighbridge was installed in November 1934 and used by farmers to determine the weight of their loads. The weighbridge was owned and managed by the Council.&nbsp; In February 1935&nbsp;a weighbridge office was built near the corner by C.T. Earl. In the mid 1950’s council personnel operated the bridge during harvest&nbsp;and for the remainder of the year the job was contracted out to private operators. At a later date the weighbridge was relocated&nbsp;to the end of Railway Tce adjacent to gates that lead to the railway lines.
