Two Wells Melodrama Group holds one theatre production each year, with seven performances scheduled for May 2010. Founded by Les "Nig" and Bet Williams, the Group's first performance was over two nights in April 1982, at the old Two Wells Institute. Since 1985 all productions are held in the Two Wells Community Centre. Concerts and musical productions have always been part of the life of Two Wells. A brass band performed late in the 19th century. Piano teachers were always in demand and elocution and singing a priority.Â
During World War Two, concerts were arranged to raise funds for the war effort.
Two Wells Melodrama Group holds one theatre production each year, with seven performances scheduled for May 2010. Founded by Les "Nig" and Bet Williams, the Group's first performance was over two nights in April 1982, at the old Two Wells Institute. Since 1985 all productions are held in the Two Wells Community Centre.
